Job description

We are looking for a Safety Manager with strong transportation experience to manage driver compliance, fleet safety, and regulatory requirements. This role directly supports fleet operations and ensures safe, compliant movement of freight.

Primary Duties

  • Monitor driver compliance — HOS, logs, ELDs, MVRs, DQ files
  • Manage onboarding, road tests, and driver safety orientation
  • Conduct post‐accident investigations and coordinate insurance claims
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance compliance and DVIR processes
  • Maintain OSHA documentation and lead facility safety inspections
  • Track CSA scores and implement corrective‐action plans
  • Partner with operations to reduce violations, accidents, and downtime

Preferred Experience

  • Transportation safety background (trucking, final‐mile, LTL, or logistics)
  • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and CSA scoring
  • Experience with ELD systems and fleet‐management platforms
  • Strong documentation and coaching skills
