Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall health, performance, and efficiency of the production floor. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position provides leadership and operational oversight for the Warehouse, Inventory, and Production departments, ensuring all teams remain aligned with established processes, performance standards, and company objectives.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role that requires a strong presence on the production floor. The General Manager works closely with department managers and leads to drive operational excellence, ensuring accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Success in this role requires a leader who can effectively coach, develop, and empower teams while maintaining a focus on following process and achieving goals.

Key Responsibilities
•  Enforce established operational processes and ensure consistent adherence across the Warehouse, Inventory, and Production departments.
•  Hold department leaders and their teams accountable for achieving established goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), including production output, quality, accuracy, efficiency, and throughput.
•  Partner with Human Resources to address employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance, coaching, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
•  Provide regular operational updates to the CEO, communicating progress toward departmental goals, identifying risks, and proactively recommending solutions.
•  Collaborate with Customer Service and other cross-functional departments to ensure operational alignment and business success.
•  Maintain compliance with all company quality standards, including NIJ certification requirements, Made-in-USA standards, and established operating procedures.
•  Identify operational challenges before they impact performance, implement corrective actions, and develop strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
•  Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors, leads, and managers to strengthen leadership capabilities, improve team performance, and support succession planning.
•  A continuous growth mindset and a willingness to embrace new ideas.
