We provide one platform for all government workflows - fill, pay, route, automate, sign, and populate. Built for how government really works, SimpliGov combines modern tech with a human touch: no-code tools, fast support, and proven results across 100+ agencies.
We are growing rapidly and looking for talented, high-impact professionals to join our team!
Role Overview
The Project Manager is a highly organized and client-focused lead of successful implementations of our SaaS solutions for government customers. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and public sector delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to customer and business goals.
This role is fully remote, with the expectation that the candidate is based in Tallahassee, FL or within a one-hour commute. Being a SimpliGov Project Manager requires a balance of strategic consulting, technical acumen, and program management. You must be comfortable engaging with C-level executives, department heads, and technical project leads, while also knowing product functionality. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing multiple sets of stakeholders, and brings a strong mix of execution rigor and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Lead end-to-end SaaS implementations
  • Act as primary client contact and manage expectations
  • Identify and mitigate risks, handle objections and manage to set scope, budget timelines, and priorities
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making both internally and externally
  • Maintain detailed project plans and ensure timely delivery while keeping all stakeholders informed of status, risks, tradeoffs
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Ensure quality, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  • Support PMO standards, reporting, and governance

Process Improvement & Cross-Departmental
  • Proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities within Professional Services processes and workflows
  • Lead the design, development, and rollout of improved internal processes, templates, and standards
  • Own and drive cross-departmental initiatives that advance the Professional Services organization's scalability and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Support, and Engineering to align on delivery standards and improve the customer journey

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years SaaS or implementation PM experience
  • Based within an hour's drive of Tallahassee, FL, with the ability to travel to state agencies up to twice a week
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple client engagements
  • Strong organization, communication and stakeholder management
  • Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Accelo, Jira, etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Exposure to government customers and operations strongly preferred
