Job Summary:
MDAEdge is a company seeking a SQL Server Database Administrator to develop and maintain corporate SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and security. Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain corporate SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity, security, retention, and recoverability.
• Design, build, test, and deploy database solutions aligned with project objectives and best practices.
• Administer enterprise-wide data architecture and implement complex data structures.
• Manage daily operations of corporate databases.
• Create and administer database objects to maximize availability, efficiency, and supportability.
• Perform database administration tasks (installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migration, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup, and recovery).
• Provide 24x7 rotational on-call support, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventative actions.
• Manage change processes across development, test, QA, and production environments.
• Proactively monitor databases and resolve issues.
• Optimize databases and T-SQL (performance tuning, query optimization).
• Participate in projects involving database enhancements and design decisions.
