Job Description

The applicant needs to have at least 8 years of recent SQL Server DBA experience which includes at least 2 years working with SQL Server 2012. 

The applicant must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills in the use of the components of SQL Server and troubleshooting of SQL Server issues. 

The individual must be a solid team player with good verbal communication and writing skills. The applicant must be able to work well with all types of customers. 

It also requires some experience with data modeling with emphasis on physical database design. 

Must work well in a global team environment that interacts with Data Architects, Application Developers, Server Administrators, Planners, Vendors, Server/Database Engineering and Plant IT Operations teams. 

In addition to having solid technical skills, the candidate must have also excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

A bachelor's degree is required--preferably in an IT field related to Database Administration.
