About the role
As our Lead Data Architect, you will be the defining voice on how data is structured, governed, and leveraged across our clients' SAP S/4HANA landscapes. You will work at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery, designing data architectures that are robust, scalable, and aligned to real organisational outcomes. This is a senior, client-facing role that demands both deep SAP data expertise and the gravitas to lead conversations with executives, programme teams, and technical specialists alike. You will set the standard for data architecture at Resulting and help shape how we grow this capability across our client base.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade logical and physical data models for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring they are aligned to business processes and long-term data strategy
  • Define and own the overall data architecture for SAP engagements, covering master data, transactional data, analytics, and integration layers
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards that ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across SAP landscapes
  • Architect data integration solutions connecting SAP S/4HANA with third-party and cloud-based enterprise applications, leveraging tools such as SAP BTP, BDC, and MDG
  • Lead data workstream teams, providing technical direction, quality assurance, and hands-on support where needed
  • Engage confidently with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and programme sponsors, to communicate architectural decisions, manage expectations, and build long-term trust
  • Stay at the forefront of SAP data management innovation, including SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Business AI Platform, applying relevant advances to client engagements
