W2 - Onsite position located in Parsippany, N.J. Open to candidates looking to relocate to New Jersey.

Vega is hiring! Senior Business Analyst with SAP experience with our direct client. Candidates must be able to work as a W2 employee. No C2C consultants or employers. Sponsorship is not available.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Business/Data Analyst Contractor that has SAP and Cloud-Data experience that will have the responsibility for eliciting business needs, performing detailed analysis and documentation, modeling processes, evaluating impacts, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with the project teams to ensure the successful delivery of new Cloud-Data Lake capabilities in support of various applications.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related majors.
  • 8+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing.
  • 8+ years experience in systems analysis, data analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations
  • 7 years of progressive hands-on SAP techno-functional experience with a strong understanding of SAP datasets like Sales, Purchasing, Material management, Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Should be able to direct the team to map the SAP datasets in a non SAP cloud platform e.g. for Sales Datasets - modeling of Sales Orders with Invoices, shipment, Master data etc.
  • responsible for writing the functional specifications of the data sets created.
  • Deep technical knowledge of SQL and CDS views, including experience in designing, joining, and analyzing complex data structures.
  • Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology, including: eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews.
  • Modeling experience (e.g., process flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, mock-ups/wireframes).
  • Experience in data modeling.
  • Experience in process re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of Information Security Awareness.
