Job description

Today, General RV Center stands as the Nation’s Largest Family-Owned RV Dealer, with locations nationwide and a global presence through our Internet Sales team.


Process and Procedure:

  • Effectively translate Sales and Customer expectations for each delivery by converting the information on a Celebrate to a work order
  • Ensures each unit is clear of all recalls, service bulletins, and warranty issues prior to delivery
  • Communicate issues and changes to a scheduled delivery to ensure a great customer experience
  • Create packets for internal, external, and warranty work orders, which include all necessary documentation for the preparation of a unit
  • Creates and finalizes work orders
  • Complete used repair sheets for the “W” drive after the prepping of all used RVs
  • Creates service files for all new customers
  • Completes work orders within 24 hours after delivery to ensure posting is not delayed
  • Complete tasks in CAMP in a timely manner


Communication:

  • Collaborates daily with Service Manager/Assistant Manager, Shop Foreman, and Sales Manager to provide solutions related to deliveries
  • Ensures updates/revisions to sales orders are communicated in a timely fashion to the proper individuals
  • Updates cash work order status in CAMP and provides a copy to the Delivery Coordinator if applicable
  • Acts as liaison to the Sales Department by being the “go-to” person for all sales-related steps in the delivery process


Thoroughness:

  • Reviews and verifies all sales orders are accurate and correct
  • Maintains Sold Units Storage Log

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience with RV or Automotive Service Writing experience a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and organized.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
  • Customer Service experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license.
