Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Laboratory/Technical Assistant (Huda Lab) - Seasonal for the Huda Lab within the Division of Life Sciences.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Maintains animal colony by setting up breeding pairs, separating litters, and genotyping transgenic lines.
  • Assists with experiments by performing behavioral training, microscopy imaging, surgeries, perfusions, immunohistochemistry, and data analysis.
  • Performs experimental procedures including animal surgeries, animal behavior, two-photon imaging, and fiber photometry.
  • Maintains compliance management in accordance with Lab Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC) and Research and Environmental Health and Safety (REHS).
  • Manages supply orders and general lab maintenance.
