Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for a skilled home health position working with adult and geriatric medical/surgical patients throughout the Akron/Canton area.

This is a field-based role with a well-established, stable home health agency. You will complete Start of Care (SOC) visits and recertifications within the first 60 days for each new patient.

Current volume: ~1.5-2.5 hours per week to start, with opportunity for growth based on referrals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document clinical visits under the direction of the DON
  • Complete Start of Care and recertification visits
  • Perform supervisory visits as needed
  • Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with the clinical team
  • Support high-quality patient care and service standards

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Ohio)
  • Home health experience required
  • Strong OASIS documentation skills (must be fully competent)
  • Willingness to travel throughout Akron/Canton area
  • Russian speaking is a strong plus
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
