Position Overview

Sinai Hospital’s Department of Medicine is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant with Russian language proficiency preferred.

This role is essential in supporting daily office operations and ensuring a seamless, patient-centered experience. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the medical office
  • Manage incoming calls, triage inquiries, and route complex matters appropriately
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Schedule appointments, maintain provider calendars, and coordinate meetings or conferences

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
