WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A FOOD RUNNER

Assist Server and Bartender (when applicable) in providing quality food and beverage service to guests, according to restaurant specifications, courteously and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment. Stock all wares and equipment need for service.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Ability to:

  • Anticipate and understand guests' service needs.
  • Be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Focus attention on details.
  • Follow directions thoroughly.
  • Exert strong physical effort in transporting supplies from storeroom to restaurant and transporting trays of equipment, food and beverages to/from dining room.
  • Endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

ARE YOU THE FOOD RUNNER WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

To excel in the role of a Food Runner at our restaurant, there are several essential skills and qualifications that you should possess. First and foremost, the ability to anticipate and understand guests' service needs is crucial to provide exceptional customer service. Additionally, being well-organized, attention to detail, following directions thoroughly, and being able to exert physical effort when transporting supplies and trays are also necessary for success in this position. You should be able to work cohesively with your co-workers as part of a team.

Prior experience as a Food Runner for at least six months, satisfactory English communication skills, and possessing a Food Handlers Certification are also required. Above all, we are seeking a team player who is willing to lend a helping hand to any teammate at any time.
