About the Role:
Join the service team at The Americano, a modern Italian-inspired steakhouse by Chef Scott Conant. As a Server Assistant/Busser, you’ll play a key role in delivering warm, seamless, and memorable hospitality—supporting servers, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
What You’ll Do:
  • Support the service team with water, bread, and beverage service.
  • Clear, reset, and maintain tables with precision and care.
  • Assist servers and runners to ensure timely, polished guest service.
  • Maintain organization, sanitation, and readiness of the dining room.
  • Uphold brand standards and contribute to an exceptional guest experience.
The Food Runner reports to the General Manager, and will work as an integral part of the service team, dedicated to providing guests with the most impeccable, accurate, and courteous service possible and exceeding guest expectations by paying attention to guests' needs at all times. The Food Runner is an integral part of the Americano team dedicated to the ultimate example of excellence in products and services on the property. The Food Runner is responsible for gracious customer service in order to help Americano exceed customer satisfaction standards.
What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare the food expo line accordingly;, making sure there is plates, utensils, and sauces ready for the shift.
  • Examine food coming out of the window and that it is properly plated and presentation is up to standard.
  • Maintain organization, sanitation, and readiness of the dining room.
  • Uphold brand standards and contribute to an exceptional guest experience.
  • Comply to any direction given from management.

What You Bring:
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred (luxury or fine dining a plus).
  • Food Handler’s Card (required).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and professional demeanor.
