Job description

Our organization is currently looking for a Medical Oncologist to join the Division of Medical Oncology/Hematology, in partnership with our Cancer Center, at the Riverside University Health System (RUHS).

The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise across all facets of oncology. The academic position will be aligned with the candidate's qualifications, and we offer a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.

This Division is responsible for the multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment at RUHS, contributing to the broader presence of our Cancer Center in key oncology specialties. RUHS plays a vital role in delivering cancer services to the residents of Riverside County and is also a participating site in our Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.

Our Cancer Center is dedicated to providing patient-centered, top-tier care, with a strong focus on integrating scientific advancements into clinical practice. This translational research and cancer treatment is delivered by esteemed specialists in a convenient and accessible setting. The Cancer Center connects patients to 11 specialized teams that focus on various cancer types and is on track for designation as a Cancer Center by the NCI.

Compensation & Benefits

Projected Total Annual Compensation: $360,000 - $496,000

The stated compensation range includes variable components and is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) work schedule, as detailed in the departmental compensation plan. The starting base salary, which is subject to adjustment based on experience and faculty rank, is anticipated to be within the range of $360,000 - $496,000. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
