Job description

Trinity TankCar, Inc. is looking for a Career Alternative Coatings in our Longview, TX location! Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. Over the last 85 years, Trinity Industries has grown to over 6,000 employees strong with the common purpose of Delivering Goods, For the Good of All. 

 

What you'll do:

         Will be measuring and cutting the rubber to line the interior of tank cars.

         Ability to apply rubber linings to the inside of the tank car (including stitching and rolling).

         Employees at this level require some supervision. Observes all standard safety practices.

Maintain and complete all required records.

What you'll need:

         Ability to use a utility knife and other hand tools as needed to cut rubber lining.

         Ability to operate small hand tools and accurately read a tape measure.

         Knowledge of proper preparation of tank cars for lining.
