A Rubber Lining job involves applying protective rubber coatings to tanks, pipes, valves, and other industrial equipment to prevent corrosion, abrasion, and chemical damage. Workers in this role measure, cut, and bond rubber sheets to surfaces using adhesives or vulcanization methods. They also inspect and maintain existing linings to ensure durability and performance in harsh environments such as chemical processing plants, water treatment facilities, and mining operations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a rubber liner?

To thrive as a Rubber Liner, you need practical skills in material preparation, surface cleaning, and the application of rubber linings, often requiring a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience. Familiarity with tools such as grinders, rollers, adhesive applicators, and an understanding of safety protocols or industry certifications like OSHA are important.
