Job description

RSI Logistics provides rail software and logistics solutions and is searching for a growth-minded Marketing resource to be based at parent company Trinity Industries' corporate HQ in Dallas, TX.

The Marketing Specialist ensures our products are successfully introduced and positioned in the market to achieve our growth objectives, reinforce and evolve our portfolio's brand.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand customer needs, challenges, buying journey, and value perception to guide decision-making on marketing efforts that generate leads, support sales and customer operations, and drive brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and customer operations to share insights and align on customer, market, and competitive understanding.
  • Leverage insights to implement strategies that drive growth and reinforce brand equity.
  • Lead marketing projects and campaigns, including new product launches, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Assist in crafting key messaging and positioning to optimize product value and market fit.
  • Execute digital marketing content and strategies including website and blogs, social media, SEO, lead-gen, inbound marketing, customer communications, and marketing automation.
  • Support development of sales tools and content including CRM management, sales presentation material, enablement content, and conference strategy and execution.
  • Coordinate advertising including search, social, sponsorships and industry ad placement and execution.
  • Maintain brand materials and usage guidelines, and support creative development as needed.
  • Develop communication materials for product offerings targeting internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Conduct market research, gather product KPIs, and perform competitive analysis for business reviews.
  • Continuously monitor market and competitor strategies to inform product offerings.
     

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required.
  • 5 plus years of experience in B2B marketing or a similar role in B2B environment.
  • Understanding of the freight rail, logistics or supply chain space and its market dynamics is preferred.
  • Proven experience creating sales enablement content, such as presentations, product sheets, and case studies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with content tools (e.g., Adobe Suite), CMS (e.g., WordPress), and CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot).
  • Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and monitoring market trends.
  • Strong organizational skills, with history of bringing projects to completion and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Able to work independently with moderate direction.
  • Learn sophisticated concepts quickly and think critically.
  • A great teammate and true collaborator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
