Job description

Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a Testing and Deployment/Cutover Lead to drive end-to-end go-live readiness for global Request to Pay (RTP) implementations. This role combines leadership across enterprise testing (test strategy, SIT/UAT planning and execution support, entry/exit criteria, defect lifecycle) with integrated deployment planning and cutover execution. The ideal candidate has led cross-functional readiness across business and IT teams, managed testing cycles, cutover runbooks, and partners closely with the PMO to align plans, governance, communications, risks/issues, and testing outcomes across the broader program.
The Sr RTP Transformation Analyst supports global Request to Pay (RTP) implementations by owning testing governance and deployment readiness, and leading cutover planning and execution to enable a stable transition to operations. This role partners closely with Finance, IT, Purchasing and impacted business stakeholders to drive integrated test and go-live plans, manage cross-workstream dependencies, and mitigate risks to ensure successful system launches.
  • Own and maintain integrated deployment plans across multiple waves, cutover runbooks, and go-live criteria aligned to the RTP roadmap.
  • Partner with testing teams to align SIT/UAT outcomes to deployment readiness; ensure defect disposition and go/no-go inputs are documented and tracked (e.g., via JIRA).
  • Lead cutover planning workshops and governance; define decision points, capture activities/owners/timing, and drive stakeholder sign-offs across workstreams.
  • Coordinate end-to-end cutover readiness activities (process, data, security/roles) and maintain readiness scorecards for leadership review.
  • Develop and track cutover risks, assumptions, and contingencies (including rollback considerations where applicable).
  • Lead cutover execution for the RTP workstream and partner with the PMO on the integrated master schedule, status reporting, issue triage, decision escalation, and go/no-go recommendations.
  • Support test execution governance by coordinating SIT/UAT readiness checkpoints, facilitating defect triage and prioritization with business and IT, and providing testing status/metrics as part of overall go-live readiness reporting.
  • Apply testing knowledge to support go-live readiness: align test strategy and cutover approach, validate SIT/UAT entry and exit criteria, and confirm required test evidence/sign-offs are complete prior to go/no-go.
  • Drive data and master data readiness activities (e.g., vendor/GL mapping, open items, configuration transports), coordinating with IT and business owners.

What You'll Do
In this role, the Testing & Deployment/Cutover Lead owns integrated go-live readiness and drives execution across workstreams. The role requires strong program management skills, crisp stakeholder communications, and the ability to partner effectively with Test/QA teams. The role also leverages tools such as JIRA to track defects/issues, support triage, and provide transparent readiness reporting.
  • Coordinate SIT/UAT readiness and execution support: align test schedules to the integrated deployment plan, track defects and fixes in JIRA (or similar), facilitate triage, and ensure test results and exit criteria are reflected in readiness scorecards and go/no-go materials.
  • Own deployment/cutover inputs and maintain the RTP workstream plan, partnering with the PMO to manage the integrated go-live plan across business and IT workstreams (milestones, dependencies, and critical path).
  • Plan and facilitate cutover governance: readiness reviews, decision logs, cutover checkpoints, and executive communications for go/no-go decisions.
  • Coordinate go-live communications and stakeholder enablement (deployment calendars, blackout windows, known impacts, and support paths) to ensure operational readiness.
  • Maintain deployment reporting artifacts (readiness scorecards, cutover status, RAID logs) and provide timely updates into PMO reporting cadences, surfacing risks/issues early with actionable recommendations.
  • Standardize and continuously improve deployment and cutover playbooks, templates, and governance to increase repeatability and reduce go-live risk across deployment phases.

Deployment & Cutover Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise Testing, deployments, cutovers, or major process/system implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute cutover plans/runbooks, including milestone tracking, dependency management, and issue/risk management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with IT and Finance/business partners; ability to translate technical activities and testing outcomes into business impacts and decisions.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise testing practices, including test strategy, SIT/UAT concepts, entry/exit criteria, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience coordinating test phases (SIT/UAT), defect triage, and issue tracking using JIRA (creating/tracking defects and stories, managing workflows/status, and producing dashboards/reports) or similar tools.
  • JIRA/Atlassian toolset experience (JIRA/Confluence) for requirements, user stories, test execution evidence, defect tracking, workflow management, and delivery reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (e.g., pivot tables, structured tracking logs, executive-ready summaries).
  • Experience leading go-live/cutover governance and/or command center operations, including executive-ready communications and escalation management.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced go-live periods (extended coverage as needed during cutover).

Preferred
  • RTP / Procure-to-Pay domain experience (requisitioning, approvals, purchasing, invoicing, payments, vendor master, and controls).
  • SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementation experience; familiarity with transports, roles/authorizations, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Experience with testing coordination (SIT/UAT), defect triage processes, and release management, including use of JIRA (or similar) to manage defects, workflows, and reporting.
  • SAP Ariba (Sourcing/Contracts/Buying/Invoicing) experience.
