Job description

Who We Are:

The RSI Group (SmartCap) is the leading manufacturer, supplier, and seller of pickup truck caps and associated accessories in more than 30 countries globally.  RSI’s flagship, patented product is the SmartCap®, the world’s first flat-packable truck cap system, made of durable stainless steel and capable of customization to fit every customer’s specific interests and needs.

Primary job responsibilities include:
  • Review daily shipment log
  • Create shipping paperwork for outbound deliveries
  • Track shipments and update master list
  • Handle any issues or discrepancies with shipments
  • Communicate delivery updates with customer service team
  • Oversee inventory
  • Evaluate the selection and shipping process and work to improve efficiency
Key skills include:
  • Problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of shipping or logistics experience (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP system (preferred)
  • Data entry experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Working Conditions:
  • Almost continual work in a non-climate-controlled production environment, with seasonal temperature extremes hot or cold.
  • Considerable exposure to noise levels conducive to a manufacturing department or heavy equipment.
  • Occasional to frequent overtime.
