As an Enrollment Specialist, you have the unique opportunity to advocate for patients and their families, while working hand in hand with hospital personnel to determine eligibility for Medicaid, Social Security Disability, and various County programs. We are looking for you to act as liaisons between government entities and patients to secure funding for healthcare services rendered at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. What You'll Do:
  • Determine patient’s eligibility for state, federal, or county programs.
  • Maintain case load, uphold productivity standards.
  • Develop and maintain processional relationships with hospital staff, patients, and state workers.
  • Prepare documents, ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Adhere to and support organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Exceptional customer services skills
  • Demonstrates problem solving and case management skills.
  • Proficient with technology such as phone systems, computers, Microsoft software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Social Security Administration, and County Social Service programs
  • An understanding of HIPAA and HITECH patient confidentiality laws to protect the patient, client, and company.
  • Knowledge of major hospital systems and healthcare environment
  • Bilingual (English amp; Spanish)
