Responsibilities Include:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on refrigeration equipment such as reach-in and walk-in units, cooler display cases, ice machines, salad tables, frozen beverage, and beer systems, etc.
  • Read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Handle R-290 and other refrigerants, brazing and soldering.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, torches and measuring equipment to perform service of the unit.
  • Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe manner and adhere to all company safety requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with the customer, and work independently under pressure, and without close supervision.
  • Work on-call nights and weekends when assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be EPA certified.
  • 2-3 years of experience with refrigeration
  • Must be registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR)
  • Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE, and FACTORY are preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:
  • Exert up to 150 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, etc.) regularly and up to 50-75 pounds of force frequently without assistance.
  • Climb and work from 8ft ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions.
  • Tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and poor ventilation.
