Job description

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADN) | Nurse Supervisor -- Emergency Department/Emergency Services:

  • Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance
  • Monitor performance for patient care, assess units with nurse managers and team
  • Communicates and assists with any corrective action
  • Develop record keeping system to record medication errors/counseling

Required Skills & Experience:

At least (7+) years of nursing experience is required - ideally at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory/charge nurse/manager role

Must have at least 2 years of ED/Emergency Room nursing experience

Required Education:

-Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program

Preferred Education:

-Masters Degree in Nursing

Required Certifications & Licensure:

-RN License

-Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)

-BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)

Shift:

Monday-Friday
