PARS, Professional Automotive Relocation Services, is the fleet industryโ€™s leading relocation provider, bringing together a unique combination of proven experience, service quality, and technologies to any relocation project no matter how complex. Working with a customer to understand every pain point, PARS develops a metrics-driven solution that can combine any or all of its services โ€” vehicle driveaway, auto carrier service, storage management, license and titling, reconditioning & make-ready, detailing, body work, mechanical repair, and general maintenance services.

Job Summary

The Recruiter partners with field offices to build robust independent contractor pipelines, execute recruitment strategies, and deliver a seamless candidate experience. Key responsibilities include sourcing for active and passive candidates, performing initial outreach, and screening qualifications. This hybrid position must function during core business hours and allows for telecommuting in accordance with PARS guidelines. (7001 Heritage Village Plaza, Gainesville, VA 20155).

Essential Responsibilities, not limited to
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple platforms (e.g., job boards, social media, professional networks, and other community groups).
  • Identify and engage both active and passive qualified 1099 talent utilizing sourcing platforms.
  • Execute high-volume outreach via text, phone calls, and email to connect with on-the-go transportation independent contractors.
  • Conduct phone screens to assess basic qualifications and compliance with DOT regulations, communication skills, and pay expectations.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data, update statuses, and log activity in the company's tracking system.
  • Track recruitment metrics and gather data on competitor contracting trends, compensation rates, and talent availability.

Education:

Experience:

Minimum 3 yearsโ€™ experience in talent acquisition or independent contractor sourcing with a proven track record of placing candidates. Experience with transportation and/or 1099 candidates is a plus.

Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with modern sourcing and ATS/CRM platforms.
  • Understanding of transportation terminology, hours of service (HOS), and driver geographic challenges is a plus.
