Job Title: Production Operator | 1st Shift | $20-22+HR | DIRECT HIRE

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Production Operator for our 1st Shift, which runs from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. This role offers competitive hourly pay and the opportunity for a direct hire position. The ideal candidate will have experience with tow motor operations as well as machine and chemical operating.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete departmental training programs and maintain required skill levels.
  • Train other plant employees in equipment operation and process procedures.
  • Safely and accurately operate all equipment associated with production processes, using prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Identify, stage, and procure raw materials according to published formulas.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including pounds used, lot numbers, and waste or spillage reporting.
  • Independently produce batches from approved formulations, including weighing, mixing, extruder charging, pelletizing, and completing master-batch processes.
  • Set up production processes, deliver samples to Quality Control, and adjust processes per QC feedback.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in machine operating, chemical mixing, and production processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel flights of stairs.
  • Experience with tow motor operations.
  • Clean-shaven for respirator use.
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
