Job description

The Commercial Lines Account Executive will retain and grow the business by servicing and managing client and prospective client relationships both internally and externally collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve client satisfaction, and create new business opportunities.  
 
Responsibilities 
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients, prospects, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Identify coverage gaps and provide tailored insurance solutions for complex client needs.
  • Analyze losses, review policy forms, handle claims questions, and support claims resolution.
  • Oversee daily servicing tasks such as policy processing, invoicing, certificates, and endorsements.
  • Lead the renewal process, including trend analysis, pricing negotiations, and proposal delivery.
  • Expand book of business through networking, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Support new business development and onboarding alongside the sales team.
  • Develop and present educational materials to clients and prospects as value-added services.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external legal and client requirements.
  • Foster teamwork, mentor new staff, and stay current through ongoing training and industry updates.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license in good standing.
  • Professional Designation specific to area of specialty (ie, ARM, CIC, RPLU) (preferred)
Skills amp; Experience
  • 10-15 years of experience in Commercial Property amp; Casualty Insurance
  • Proficient knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations
  • College Degree in a business-related field. (preferred)
