The Senior Royalty Analyst is a subjectmatter expert responsible for overseeing complex royalty reporting, advanced billing activities, highvalue Licensee accounts, and endtoend AR processes. This role combines analytical excellence with leadership, serving as a primary escalation point for internal teams and global customers. The Senior Analyst ensures accuracy, drives process improvements, supports system enhancements, and provides strategic insights to management.

This position requires exceptional analytical skills, the ability to manage large and complex data sets, and deep understanding of royalty methodologies and accounting practices. The Senior Analyst must demonstrate autonomy, sound judgment, and the ability to mentor others while consistently delivering highquality results under tight deadlines.  This hybrid role requires to work on-site at the Greenwood Village office three days per week (Tues-Thurs).

Key Responsibilities:

Royalty Reporting & Program Expertise

Lead the review, validation, and processing of complex or highvolume royalty reports.
 Interpret and apply royalty allocation methodologies, licensing agreements, and program rules to ensure accurate calculations.
 Serve as an expert resource for resolving escalated issues related to royalty reporting, tax questions, and Licensee compliance.
 Advise management on trends, anomalies, or risks identified in royalty submissions.
 Partner with product, technical, and program teams to evaluate and test system updates affecting royalty workflows.

Advanced Accounts Receivable & Collections

 Manage endtoend AR functions for highvalue or strategically important customer accounts.
 Oversee reconciliation of payments, adjustments, credits, and complex account transactions.
 Analyze AR aging and drive proactive collection strategies to minimize delinquencies.
 Lead escalations for overdue or disputed accounts and coordinate with legal or management as needed.
 Recommend process enhancements to improve AR turnaround times and accuracy.

Data Analysis, Reporting & Insights

 Analyze large financial data sets to identify trends, reporting variances, payment behaviors, and operational risks.
 Prepare advanced reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership.
 Support monthend, quarterend, and yearend close through reconciliations, documentation, and variance analysis.
 Provide insights that help improve forecasting, revenue cycles, and program administration.

Leadership, Training & CrossFunctional Collaboration

 Manage and or serve as a mentor to Analysts and Specialists; review work, guide communications, and support technical learning.
 Lead training sessions for new team members on royalty processes, systems, controls, and best practices.
 Collaborate with internal teams including Accounting, Finance, Legal, Sales, and Program Operations to ensure alignment and efficient workflows.
 Represent the department in crossfunctional initiatives, audits, and special projects.

Compliance, Systems & Process Improvement

 Ensure strict adherence to SOX, SOC 1, and internal control requirements.
 Maintain auditready records of royalty submissions, billing activities, payments, and communications.
 Evaluate existing workflows and recommend operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
 Participate in system upgrades, enhancement testing, and documentation of new procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related subject preferred.
 4+ years experience in royalty accounting, accounts receivables, financial analysis, licensing operations, or comparable roles.
 Experience managing complex accounts and leading process improvements.
 Prior mentorship, team-lead, or project-lead experience strongly preferred.
 Strong proficiency with Office 3665 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
 Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling).
 Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems, CRM tools, and reporting platforms.
 Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with a high attention to detail.
 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing correspondence.
 Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlines.
 Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and audit standards.
Accounting or analytical certifications a plus (CARMTM, CCCM, etc.).

The Denver Area base salary range for this full-time position is $80,500-$107,600 and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
