Job description

Prisma Graphic is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Router Operator to join our Wide Format production team. This position is responsible for operating digital cutting and routing equipment to finish printed graphics and rigid substrates accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate has experience with Kongsberg cutting systems or similar CNC routing equipment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.


The Router Operator will review production tickets, prepare materials, set up tooling, and execute cutting/routing operations to meet quality and production standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to maintain consistent output during overnight production shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate digital routing and cutting equipment, Kongsberg preferred
  • Read and interpret production tickets, cut files, and job specifications
  • Load, align, and secure rigid substrates and printed materials for routing
  • Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for various materials
  • Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Maintain workflow efficiency to meet production deadlines
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
  • Communicate with prepress, print operators, and supervisors regarding job requirements
  • Follow all company safety procedures and production standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating digital cutting tables or CNC routers (Kongsberg experience strongly preferred)
