Through a combination of structured learning, field experiences, and practical application, participants will gain experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, sales execution, merchandising, customer support, coaching fundamentals, and business planning over a 6-month rotation. The program also offers insight into how teams across the organization collaborate to deliver results, preparing participants for future opportunities as a Market Sales Leader.

Position Summary: As a participant in the Route to Readiness: MSL Development Program, you will gain valuable experience working alongside sales leaders, field teams, customers, and cross-functional business partners. This role supports market growth and customer execution through Direct Store Delivery operations, merchandising excellence, relationship building, sales execution, coaching exposure, and operational excellence. The program is designed to strengthen Bimbo Bakeries USA's talent pipeline by developing future MSL candidates before opportunities become available.

Participants will contribute to real business priorities while building the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to support successful transition into a future Market Sales Leader role. Key Job Responsibilities: Successfully complete all requirements of the Route to Readiness: MSL Development Program, including assessments, development milestones, and readiness evaluations. Engage in structured learning, field-based experiences, customer interactions, and targeted development opportunities designed to build business and leadership capability.

Support route sales execution through merchandising, inventory management, product freshness, and adherence to operational standards. Develop productive relationships with customers, route operators, frontline associates, cross-functional partners, and key business partners. Gain practical exposure to frontline leadership, including coaching practices, performance management, and team engagement.

Utilize sales tools, business reporting, customer insights, and performance metrics to support decision-making and execution. Contribute to market planning, customer service initiatives, and execution priorities that drive business results. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Customer Teams, Marketing, and Innovation, to understand how the organization delivers results.

Participate in field-based projects and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational and sales effectiveness. Computer skills and proficiency are required, including Microsoft Office Suite or similar systems. Account management, retail, merchandising, sales, operations, or leadership experience is a plus. Must have a valid driver's license and able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
