Job description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
Would you like to implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve the world's most complex technical problems. Do you have a deep passion and desire to engineer and operate the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure to build a better world for future generations.

AWS established a specialized group of service teams responsible for the work we are doing with the U.S. Intelligence Community. We are building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world, and we need adaptable people to help us implement and operate them

The AWS Route 53 Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) ADC team is seeking a system development manager who will be focused on leading a team of engineers to help ensure Route 53 maintains a 100% availability SLA. A day in the life
It's always Day 1 at Amazon

On a typical day, a Route 53 ADC Engineering Manager drives the technical direction for the team, manages projects, and works to ensure engineers are set up for success. The most exciting part of this role is seeing the team build and deliver the latest Route 53 features and software releases for our air-gapped customers.
About the team
The Route 53 team is responsible for maintaining a 100% availability SLA.

The team will be focused on ensuring Route 53 services remain highly available following CI/CD methodologies and work to scale the services with operator tools and infrastructure as code.
