About the role
The Media Supervisor, Retail Media will lead strategy, planning, and hands-on activation of retail media campaigns across key clients as well as platforms including Walmart Connect, Instacart, Roundel (Target), Criteo Retail Media, Amazon, and other Retail Media Networks (RMNs). This person will partner closely with clients to set strategy, drive activation and ensure we as a team are meeting all of the agreed upon success criteria. They will ensure excellence in measurement and optimization and provide insights into market and retail trends. As part of the role, they will integrate retail media into holistic, omni-channel strategies for major retail and CPG clients.
What you'll do
  • Lead the development and execution of omni-channel retail media strategies, integrating retail platforms with broader media plans.
  • Oversee campaign setup, optimization, and performance management across Kroger, Instacart, Walmart Connect, Amazon, and other retail media networks - including On-Platform & Off-Platform retail media strategies.
  • Collaborate with our analytics COE and client leadership to ensure optimal methodologies, cohesive messaging and measurement across channels.
  • Provide strategic guidance to top clients and internal teams on leveraging retail media for full-funnel marketing objectives.
  • Analyze campaign data, generate insights, and deliver actionable performance reports with clear recommendations.
  • Stay current on the retail media landscape, platform updates, and industry trends to inform strategies and educate teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted strategic partner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (media planners, analytics, creative) to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, sharing best practices and ensuring high-quality campaign execution.
  • Participate in client presentations, articulating media strategy, campaign results, and growth opportunities within the retail category and its impact on omni-channel execution.
  • Develop and test custom audience segments, retargeting pools, and lookalike models using first-party and CRM data where/when applicable.
  • Ensure campaigns are optimized against key client success criteria including but not limited to ROI and iROAS.

Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of digital media experience, with at least 3 years in retail media campaign management (agency or client-side).
    • Hands-on experience with campaign setup, trafficking, and optimization on Walmart Connect, Instacart, Roundel (Target), Criteo Retail Media, Amazon, and other Retail Media Networks (RMNs).
    • Strong understanding of the retail media ecosystem, platform-specific algorithms, and the evolving role of retail media within omni-channel marketing.
    • Proven ability to analyze data, optimize campaigns for performance, and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Experience integrating retail media into broader media strategies, including paid search, paid social, and programmatic channels.
    • Proficient in media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets).
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Deep knowledge of retail media platforms (Kroger, Instacart, Walmart Connect, Amazon) - including On-Platform and Off-Platform tactics.
    • Confident presenter who can command an audience and deliver strategy and results.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience with campaign measurement and attribution.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Leadership and mentorship skills; experience supervising or training junior staff.

The pay range for this hybrid role is:
