Mitigation Technician
SERVPRO | Full-Time
Location: Pewaukee, WI
Schedule: Rotating on-call availability required, including nights, weekends, and extended hours during emergencies
POSITION SUMMARY
SERVPRO is seeking a dependable and hardworking Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team out of our Pewaukee, WI office. This position responds to fire, water, mold, and storm damage emergencies at residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is motivated, customer-focused, and able to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to emergency mitigation and restoration service calls
- Perform water extraction, demolition, drying, and cleanup services
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers
- Assist with mold remediation and biohazard cleanup as directed and when trained
- Communicate professionally with customers, crew chiefs, and managers
- Always keep assigned vehicles, equipment, and jobsites clean and organized
- Follow SERVPRO production guidelines and safety procedures
- Work standard hours (8am-4pm) Mon-Fri.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Shows strong initiative and a solid work ethic, with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Learns quickly and efficiently completes tasks assigned by the crew chief or manager
- 1-2 years experience in restoration, construction, or cleaning services preferred but not required
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
- Applied Structural Drying (ASD)
- Mold Remediation Certification
- OSHA Safety Training
