Driver / Runner - Roofing Service Department
Location: Sarasota, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking a dependable and motivated Driver / Runner to support our Roofing Service Department in Sarasota. This position is responsible for ensuring our service crews have the materials, tools, and equipment needed to keep projects moving efficiently throughout the day.
No roofing experience is required. We will train the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, staying active, and working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver roofing materials, tools, and equipment to job sites throughout the Sarasota and surrounding areas.
  • Pick up supplies from vendors, warehouses, and suppliers.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials.
  • Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and related documentation.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Help organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas.
  • Support service crews with general operational and logistical needs.
  • Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving pickup trucks, work vehicles, or trailers.
