Job description

Roofing Crews — Foremen and Laborers

Hale's Roofing  |  Full-time  |  Piece-rate pay  |  In person (Northern Arizona)
About Hale's Roofing

Hale's Roofing is an established roofing and exterior home services company serving Northern Arizona, with offices in Sedona, Cottonwood, Prescott, and Flagstaff.
With 35 years in business and more than 30,000 completed projects, Hale's has built its reputation on craftsmanship, integrity, and exceptional customer service. What began as a small local business has grown into one of the most recognized and trusted roofing companies in Northern Arizona.
Hale's is backed by a long-term capital partner that provides additional support in marketing, team expansion, technology, and operational excellence.

Job Overview

Hale's Roofing is hiring full roofing crews, foremen and laborers, to run residential and commercial projects across Northern Arizona. We are looking for crews with hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
•        Asphalt shingles
•        Tile roofing
•        TPO roofing
•        Stucco
•        Roof coatings
We have steady work and plenty of it. Our sales and production teams keep a full backlog across four markets, so crews who show up, produce, and do quality work will stay busy year-round. Established crews can come on as a unit with their foreman. Individual foremen and laborers are also welcome to apply.
What You Will Do
•        Install and repair shingle, tile, TPO, stucco, and coating systems based on crew experience and assigned projects
•        Run daily field operations on residential and commercial jobsites
•        Review and execute scopes of work, work orders, project plans, and installation instructions
•        Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and jobsite needs
•        Inspect work throughout each project to meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and building codes
•        Follow all company safety requirements and keep the crew working safely
•        Train and mentor newer installers on technique, safety, and quality expectations
•        Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, building owners, and project managers
•        Submit production updates, job photos, reports, and time records
•        Identify and resolve field issues before they affect quality or schedule
•        Keep jobsites clean, organized, and professional
•        Protect customer homes, landscaping, and property throughout the project
Required Qualifications
•        Foremen: 3+ years of roofing, stucco, or related exterior construction experience
•        Laborers: prior roofing or construction experience preferred, willingness to learn required
•        Strong experience in at least one of the following: shingles, tile, TPO, stucco, or roof coatings
•        Foremen: proven experience leading crews and hitting production goals
•        Ability to read and understand scopes of work, job instructions, and project documentation
•        Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
•        Ability to lift roofing materials, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physical construction work
•        Comfortable working outdoors in Northern Arizona weather conditions
•        Willingness to travel between projects within the Northern Arizona service area
•        Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
•        Own hand tools preferred
Preferred Qualifications
•        Established crews that work together and can come on as a unit
•        Multi-trade capability across roofing, stucco, and coatings
•        English/Spanish bilingual
•        Clean driving record
•        OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Compensation
•        Piece-rate compensation based on completed production
•        Strong earning potential for productive, quality-focused crews
•        Pay depends on experience, trade expertise, and production
•        Consistent volume so crews can count on steady weeks

Benefits
•        Health insurance
•        401(k) retirement plan
Why Work With Hale's
•        Steady, year-round work across four Northern Arizona markets
•        An established company with 35 years of experience and a trusted local name
•        Work across multiple roofing and exterior trades, not just one
•        Real benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k), which most crews in this trade never get
•        Support from experienced production and operations teams
•        Opportunities for long-term growth and increased leadership responsibility
•        A culture built around craftsmanship, accountability, integrity, and customer service
Schedule
•        Full-time
•        Occasional weekends based on production schedules, weather, and project needs
Work Location
Projects are located throughout Northern Arizona, including:
•        Sedona
•        Cottonwood and the Verde Valley
•        Prescott
•        Flagstaff
•        Surrounding communities
If you run a crew that takes ownership of its work, does it right the first time, and wants to be rewarded for quality and production, we want to hear from you.
