The Durable Slate Company is an award-winning historic roofing contractor established in 1986. We specialize in premium historic roofing services, including slate, copper, and clay-tile roofing, and are known for our commitment to quality, integrity, and preservation excellence.


We Are Looking for a Roofing Production Manager Who:
  • Has experience in slate and tile roofing (preferred); shingle experience is acceptable too

  • Demonstrates team-oriented leadership skills

  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Familiar with planning and scheduling roofing projects
  • Is able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Maintains a valid driverโ€™s license with no more than 4 points, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

  • Is comfortable working at heights using ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and related equipment

  • Possesses strong communication skills, with experience working with both customers and staff

  • Takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship

  • Values safe and professional job sites

  • Is committed to superior service and high standards
