Position Overview

Davidson Academy is seeking a full-time 7th grade Science and Social Studies Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate possesses the skills and enthusiasm for the subject area, as well as a desire to see students improve and succeed. The 7th grade teacher will be working closely with the 7th grade team and the Science and Social Studies departments to produce high-quality instruction and engaging content.


Davidson Academy is an Infant-12th grade Christian private school located in Nashville, TN. Serving a diverse student population from Davidson County and the surrounding counties, we believe in the Biblical-based instruction of preparing our students for college, life, and eternity. All Davidson Academy personnel must adhere to our statements of faith.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, standards-based lesson plans that facilitate academic growth for all students
  • Differentiate instruction utilizing a variety of teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs

Philosophy of Christian Education

Davidson Academy believes the goal of Christian education is to help a student discover who God has created him/her to be and to prepare him/her for College, Life & Eternity. We believe this is accomplished through the following:

  • Teachers in a Christian school are responsible for being skilled in their profession, to integrate Biblical truth into their curriculum, and to have a relationship with Christ that exemplifies Christ-like character. (Luke 6: 40)
