Job description

POSITION:  Roll Operator
LOCATION:  Zelienople, PA
PAY: Starting at $18/hr
TYPE: Temp to hire
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:15 PM
Benefits After Probation: UPMC Medical (70% paid), Dental, Vision, Life & Disability, 401k with match, 8 paid holidays + holiday bonuses

Job Duties
•             Load steel plate using lifting clamps, chains, and overhead crane
•             Operate the roll machine using the control panel to flatten or shape steel
•             Monitor product quality, shape, and flatness throughout the process
•             Perform basic inspections and measurements
•             Maintain a clean, organized work area
•             Follow all safety protocols
•             Perform preventative maintenance as needed
 
Qualifications
•             High school diploma required
•             1+ year experience in a steel service center preferred
•             Ability to perform basic math and inspection tasks
•             Familiarity with roll machines and related equipment
•             Ability to program and operate the roll machine
