Job description


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Patrol residence and report any observations leading to loss or damage of property.
  • Monitor resident activities and act to restore order if needed.
  • Make out reports as required.
  • Act as escort for residents.
  • Screen calls and visitors.
  • Monitor the self-administration of medication.
  • Complete incident reports in AWARDS.
  • Prepare the following as needed: laundry schedule, census update, case assignments, roll call sheet, and client probation list.
  • Help maintain transition and facilities logs.
  • Monitor roll call sheet.
  • Wake clients in the morning.
  • Make periodic inspections of clients'rooms.
  • Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
  • Related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
HS diploma/ GED required, some college preferred.
One year of experience was a security guard or counselor for the mentally ill preferred.
Bilingual, Spanish/ English preferred.
Valid drivers license preferred.
Basic computer literacy required.
PR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
