Job description

Where we need you:
Purpose of this position is to control performance quality performance in plant, reduce production scrap, Enhance QRQC system & problem solving in the plant.
  • Series production quality control includes process quality monitoring, quality data collection/statistics/analysis
  • Issue supplier quality compliant to feedback SQE and suppliers, containment action taken for non-conforming
  • Carry out outgoing inspections, report for required projects and release outgoing report.
  • Block and release manufacturing-related defect parts also for warehouse defect parts management. Quarantine area management.
  • Measuring instruments, calipers and gauges maintenance. / MSA evaluation
  • Daily response for plant QRQC problem-solving approach system to take fast corrective action when necessary to minimize defects and potential failures
  • To review control plan, quality standard, work instruction and necessary quality documents for new project
  • Corporate with other RA plants.

Work experience requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related position
  • 3+ years of work experience in quality control within the automotive manufacturing industry
  • Familiar with Quality Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, and Control Plan
  • Internal Auditor certification or experience in IATF 16949
  • Familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, diameter gauges, height gauges, hardness meters, and CMM equipment
  • Ability to read basic technical drawings
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, and Minitab
