Job description

Rod Mill Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Rod Mill Operator for a company based in Hartselle, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the production of quality copper from start to finish.

Pay Rate
$22.57 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential

Schedule and Hours
Day and Night Shift, 7 00 am to 7 00 pm or 7 00 pm to 7 00 am rotating schedule

Rod Mill Operator and Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining water and soluble oil systems.
  • Clear copper build up and/or blockage with use of lancing rod.
  • Repair and rebuild launders and pour pots.
  • Assist with changeovers, shutdowns and troubleshooting production issues.
Rod Mill Operator Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have machine operator experience.
  • Ability to understand and verbal and written work.
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
