This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

We are Roche, committed to advancing science so that we all have more time with the people we love.

Our Global Pharma Strategy (GPS) team is the heartbeat of Pharma, setting the rhythm for Pharma - shaping Roche's strategic direction, ensuring our portfolio delivers meaningful innovation to patients worldwide. By integrating scientific, commercial, and market insights, GPS drives enterprise-wide strategy, portfolio prioritization, and business model innovation to advance Roche's leadership in the evolving healthcare landscape.

As part of the Portfolio, Strategy, and Insights (PSI) team within GPS, you will serve as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor, guiding Roche's product, disease area, pharma, and corporate strategy. The PSI team, composed of Advanced Analytics for Business Insights (AABI), Competitive Intelligence, Ecosystem Insights (EI), Partnering Commercial Assessment Leads, and Pharma Portfolio & Strategy, delivers consistent, targeted, and technology-enabled insights that drive quality decision-making across the enterprise, providing unbiased, expertly curated intelligence to inform lifecycle management, commercialization excellence, and portfolio strategies.

The Global Ecosystem Insights (EI) team is looking for a Beyond Therapeutic Area (TA) Insights Product Enablement Leader to join us in shaping Roche's Pharma strategy through market, portfolio and customer-centric insights. This role functions as an internal consultant and strategist, partnering with commercial and cross-functional leaders to generate insights that span Therapeutic Areas and shape cross-portfolio decisions.

The Opportunity

The Beyond TA Insights Product Enablement Leader is responsible for harnessing next-gen AI and digital solutions in Primary Market Research, secondary data sources, and forecasting to deliver superior quality insights with increased speed and cost-efficiency. In this role, you will lead innovative projects and workstreams that pioneer new methodologies, apply new technologies and create analyses that shape development and commercial strategy. You will partner extensively within EI and other PSI teams including ABBI to drive engagement, embed enhancements, and realize the full value of solutions developed. You will navigate a complex global matrix to align cross-functional partners around high-impact, insight-driven deliverables. You will report to the EI Beyond TA Enabling Leader.

Focus areas and responsibilities

  • AI capability building: Establish the framework for integrating Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics into the core of Primary Market Research, secondary insights, and forecasting. You will put in place tech-augmented approaches that unlock insights and create a distinct competitive advantage for our TAs

  • Process optimization: Streamline insights workflows through technology solutions. You will enable the team to pivot from data analysis to strategic advisory, ensuring focus on the highest-value business challenges

  • Solution integration: Identify, pilot, deploy, and manage a suite of internal and external technology solutions. You will partner with AABI to curate the Ecosystem Tool Stack, including GenAI and synthesis platforms, to deliver high quality insights faster and more cost-effectively

  • Workflow: Drive the successful adoption of new technologies by bridging the gap between technical capabilities and daily research workflows. You will ensure that AI and digital tools are not just deployed, but deeply integrated into the team's culture and ways of working to maximize their impact

  • Upskilling & training: Lead the digital transformation of EI by designing and delivering structured training programs. You will elevate technical fluency and AI literacy across the department, ensuring the team is equipped to leverage a modern, tech-enabled research environment

Who you are
  • Education and experience: Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years (or equivalent with advanced education) of Pharma/Biotech commercial insights and Product Tech Enablement experience required

  • Insights Product Enablement Expert: Must have extensive experience leading implementation of tech enablement / AI solutions for biopharma Primary Market Research, secondary research and/or forecasting deliverables

  • Innovation driver: Experienced in developing, generating buy-in and piloting innovative solutions or novel tools and systems; ability to generate new ideas/approaches that address business needs and drive creation / adoption of best practices

  • Change champion: Comfortable translating high-level intent into actionable roadmaps and leading initiatives confidently through uncertainty and resistance.

  • Impact scaler: A track record of transformation impact through initiatives at the department/functional level, and/or broader organizational level

  • Strategic problem solver: A critical thinker capable of navigating TA, portfolio, and enterprise level complexities. Ability to translate research and analysis into concise, compelling business recommendations.
