Job description

The main tasks and responsibilities of the transport drivers include but are not limited to delivering gasoline and other petroleum products safely to Rebel Oil Company customer locations including commercial tanks at convenience store and gas station locations owned and operated by Rebel Oil Company clients.
Drivers must hold and maintain a Commercial Driver's License with endorsements for Tanker, Hazmat, General Knowledge and Air Brakes. Drivers must possess the ability to read and write the English language and perform some mathematical calculations to affect delivery manifests.
Drivers load transport trucks at the local Rebel Oil Company Terminal. The loading process includes the grasping of an elevated loading arm that attaches to the truck. This requires downward pressure of about fifteen to twenty pounds in order to attach to the truck.
The position includes the ability to bend to the ground area to locate the tank lids and remove lids and caps. Fittings for the delivery are then placed on the tank fill pipes. Hoses are then connected to the fittings and to the truck to unload product.
The fittings weigh about fifteen pounds each and the hose weighs about fifteen pounds. When deliveries are complete the driver must drain the hose of product. The end of the hose with product weighs about forty pounds which are elevated above ground level to drain. The hose when drained of the product returns to the original weight of fifteen pounds. The driver must then stow the hose back to the truck.
