Job description

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Intelligence Analyst to support an exciting and unique mission. In this role, you will leverage specialized technical expertise and processes to analyze complex data and support operations against challenging mission requirements. This work is conducted in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment where ideas are openly shared and innovation is encouraged.

The position includes a comprehensive 90-day training program, during which hands-on instruction is provided by experienced and qualified analysts.  After qualification, senior analysts are expected to progress rapidly into subject matter experts, taking on increased responsibility in both analytical output and mission execution.

In addition to core analytical responsibilities, the Senior Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in leading, mentoring, and developing junior personnel. This includes sharing prior experience and knowledge to help build team capability, strengthen analytic tradecraft, and support the structured training and professional growth of new analysts.

The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, take initiative in the workplace, and demonstrate strong leadership potential. A strong sense of curiosity, along with a willingness to continuously learn, guide others, and refine analytical approaches, is essential for success in this role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct domain awareness using available ELINT tools and analytical methods to determine capability, intent, and identification
  • Develop tailored assessments for the customer's mission conducting long-term analysis to understand complex environments
  • Develop high-quality deliverables that clearly communicate analytical insights to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making using tools such as PowerPoint and ArcGIS
  • Periodically perform watch standing duties which consist of eight hours shifts in support of a 24-hour watch floor. This is typically required 3-4 times per year for approximately a two-week period
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior analysts on the team

Basic Qualifications

  • Must currently hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph in order to be considered for the position
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, professional or military
  • Bachelor's Degree or professional or military experience can be substituted for the degree
  • Must be comfortable briefing and presenting analytical findings
  • Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with senior level management, stakeholders, and team members
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technology
  • Highly organized and detail oriented

Desired Experience

  • Experience with ArcGIS PRO or other mapping software
  • Prior background in ELINT analysis or all-source intelligence
