Department Overview

McDonald's is seeking a Senior Manager of Project Management to lead and mature the Cyber PMO delivery practice at enterprise scale. This role is responsible for managing and developing a team of project managers leading all aspects of complex, crossfunctional cybersecurity initiatives that span global markets, technologies, and collaborators. The Senior Manager sets the standard for project management excellence by driving disciplined planning and standardized delivery practices. They promote achievement rigor and predictable execution. They also ensure programs deliver clear and measurable business value.

This role requires demonstrated mastery of project management fundamentals, strong people leadership experience, and the ability to lead delivery in a highly matrixed, global organization. Candidates who have not managed project managers, owned delivery standards, or operated at portfolio scale are unlikely to be successful in this role.

Duties
  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a collaborative, highperformance environment
  • Ensure effective resource utilization and forecasting across cybersecurity initiatives
  • Establish and reinforce project management standards, governance, and reporting processes
  • Oversee execution of cybersecurity initiatives to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Communicate project and portfolio status clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Drive delivery practices that enhance business value and execution predictability
  • Support the professional development of project managers through coaching and ongoing development
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, program management, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing project portfolios and leading multiple project managers
  • Strong command of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching and developing project managers
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity or largescale technology initiatives is a plus

The expected salary range for this role is$141,955.00 -$177,444.00per year
