Join the winning team at RoadDog in Moraine, OH! Being the face of our company, the RoadDog Store Associate is absolutely vital to our business success. You are responsible for the sale of fuel and other in-store merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, and assisting in the overall operations at the store providing the best customer service as a priority. 


Responsibilities

  • Ensure each customer receives excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging each customer
  • Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience
  • Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, credit/debit card, etc.
  • Follow all city, county, and state regulations and procedures regarding the transactions of tobacco products, & lottery tickets
  • Assist customers with all questions and concerns
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of merchandise. Restock and front merchandise as needed
  • Assist with general store operations as needed by the store manager and overall security of the facility
  • Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders. 
  • Uses Point of Sale system/cash register 
  • Assists with stocking of products and supplies  
  • Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the cooler   

Requirements

  • Operating a cash register handling cash at high levels of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers of varying levels of demeanor
  • Ability to assess a situation and make a logical decision
  • Quality personality, we want to build a team that enjoys spending time with one another
  • Be a team player, have a positive attitude, and have a good work ethic. 
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Physical Requirements

  • Standing for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking, bending, reaching, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb, as required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
