Job description

i9 Sports, a leader in recreational youth sports, has an immediate need for reliable and motived individuals to join our team as Road Sign Installers to support the growth and success of our territory in the Howard County & Silver Spring area. We're looking to hire several responsible, trustworthy sign installers to join our dynamic team.
The Road Sign Installer MUST own or have access to a truck, van, SUV, or spacious car for placement and removal of signs, in designated areas. Routes are available in Columbia, Ellicott City, Clarksville, Jessup, Elkridge, Silver Spring, Burtonsville, Fairland, Spencerville, Cloverly, and areas in between. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Install signs after 3 PM on Friday but no later than 7 AM Saturday
  • Pick up signs after 6 PM Sunday but before 6 AM Monday
  • Install signs along designated routes
  • Use web-based program to confirm installation of signs and report lost/removed signs
  • Request replacement of lost signs, as needed
  • Store signs (i.e. garage or at a designated storage unit established between you and your Territory Manager)

Requirements for Success
  • Must be 18+ and have own transportation and insurance
  • Must have a good attitude and enjoy working outdoors
  • Must have weekend availability and be extremely reliable
  • Must use safe practices when installing/picking up signs
  • Must have reliable forms of communications (mobile phone and email)
  • Must be able to use our web-based platform to record placement of signs
  • Must follow our designated quantities and routes
  • Must be able to pass a national background check

Compensation
  • This is a contract position. Installers will be responsible for own taxes.
  • Pays $45/route. Each route consists of installing and picking up signs.
  • Each route includes 18-22 signs and is estimated to take 2-2.5 hours.
