Job description

  • i9 Sports, a leader in the Youth Recreational Sports Business, has an immediate need for a Route Sign Placer to join our team and work with the growth and success of our territory in the SouthWest Fairfax County area. We offer part-time work that can be executed over the weekend or on your own time and we're looking to hire several responsible, trustworthy sign placers to join our dynamic team.
    The Road Sign Installer MUST own or have access to a truck, van, SUV, or spacious car for placement and/or removal of signs, in the designated areas, at the start and end of the weekend.
    Qualified individuals will essentially run a route in specific zip codes with responsibilities including but not limited to:

    • Installing signs between 6PM on Fridays and or later than 6AM Saturday morning.
    • Picking up signs prior to 6AM Monday morning.
    • Weekend only (4 hour routes).
    • Finding a qualified back-up to run signs on weekends they are unavailable.
    • Adhering to a route map that shows driving directions and signs required at each stop, which will be approved by the Territory Manager
    • Reporting of all lost/removed signs every Monday morning
    • Requesting replacement of lost signs and stakes
    • Storage of all signs (i.e. garage or at a designated storage unit established between you and your Territory Manager)

  • To succeed, you should:
    • Have a dependable vehicle with space for all signs to be carried
    • Have the availability and reliability to work weekend.
    • Live near the assigned route(s).
    • Be able to follow directions on a road map and GPS mapping systems.
    • Have reliable forms of communications (mobile phone and email).
    • We will train you and support you. You must have a good attitude, willingness to learn, and enjoy working outdoors

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
