River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust.


The Loan Servicing Quality Control Specialist ensures the accuracy, completeness and compliance of loan data by performing detailed quality control reviews on new loan boardings and loan maintenance changes. Reviews daily reports to identify and address any issues, ensuring all changes are supported by proper documentation and are accurate prior to billing.


Essential Job Functions

  • Perform quality control reviews for new loan boarding, loan maintenance transactions, and loan discharges to ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance.
  • Support consumer, residential, commercial, and escrow loan servicing by validating maintenance transactions and providing backup quality control support for loan boarding and maintenance.
  • Manage ARM rate and payment changes, approve daily rates and servicing adjustments, and monitor daily reports to identify, research, and resolve servicing exceptions.
  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and review, validate, and submit invoices for processing and payment.
Requirements:

Qualifications, Experience, and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with 3–5 years of experience in loan servicing, loan operations, lending support, or quality control within a financial institution.
  • Working knowledge of applicable state and federal lending regulations, including RESPA, the Homeowners Protection Act, and the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard business applications.
  • Strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
