Job description

Riva is a mission-driven startup using machine learning to help employees negotiate their job offers. Our team consists of prominent academics including the coauthor of the international negotiations bestseller, "Getting to Yes." Our mission is to use technology to even the gender pay gap and achieve pay equity.
Why This Matters
Employees lose out on meaningful compensation by failing to negotiate. Research shows that billions of dollars could be left on the table in the United States from employees negotiating poorly or failing to negotiate. Research also shows that negotiations is a driver of the gender pay gap as women are less likely to negotiate, tend to ask for less, and to receive less even when they do negotiate. These factors are drivers of the gender pay gap that we observe today.
