ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Data Associate role is an intermediate individual contributor role supporting the -Risk Systems & AI Transformation Team. This role turns data into clear reporting, business intelligence, and actionable insights that support risk-aware decision-making and operational effectiveness.

As a Data Associate, you will analyze data, develop reporting and dashboards, validate data quality, and partner across Business and Technology to deliver timely, high-quality analytics and automation solutions. This role also helps clarify requirements, coordinate deliverables, increase value, and advance process automation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

Perform Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to identify trends, exceptions, and insights that support business needs.

Develop Reporting and Business Intelligence Solutions: Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools, including Power BI solutions, that help stakeholders monitor performance and make informed decisions.

Partner Across Business and Technology: Work with business, analytics, reporting, and technology partners to clarify requirements, align priorities, and deliver practical analytics and automation solutions.

Support Business Analysis and Project Execution: Translate business needs into actionable deliverables, track progress, support timely execution, and help ensure quality outcomes.

Standardize Reporting and Analytics: Engage business partners to implement standardized reporting and analytics, including centrally developed solutions and end-user self-service enablement.

Manage Data Quality and Integrity: Validate, reconcile, and monitor data to support reliable reporting and analysis.

Communicate Results: Present findings, limitations, risks, and business impacts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Support Continuous Improvement: Improve reporting processes, automate repeatable work, enhance dashboards, and strengthen analytic usability and reliability.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires an intermediate to experienced level of proficiency. We require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of practical experience performing analytics with tools. Practical experience with Power BI, data analytics, reporting, and business/technology delivery is required.
