About PTI - Where the RIGHT way is the SAFE way:

Professional Transportation, Inc. has been providing crew transportation services for railroads since 1980 and has an industry reputation for providing quality, reliable, and safe crew transportation services. Much like a shuttle service, PTI receives around-the-clock requests from our railroad customers to pick up and drop off train crews.

 About the Role

Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is seeking an experienced Director of Claims to lead our Claims Management Program and help reduce risk and control claim-related costs.

  • Develop claim and litigation strategies in partnership with outside counsel, insurance carriers, railroad customers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Manage workers' compensation litigation, subrogation efforts, and quarterly reserve reviews.
  • Develop and improve claims policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor claim trends, case law, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with PTI's Risk, Safety, and Leadership Teams to develop strategies that reduce claims and organizational risk.
